Senior Area Sales Manager (all genders)

Your contribution:
- Oversee the complete sales lifecycle, from identifying leads to closing deals, providing comprehensive support to sales partners and key end customers throughout the process.
- Take charge of technical support for sales partners, including consultation, training, and assistance in securing orders, while also offering support to key customers.
- Drive expansion and optimization of strategic market segments and the existing distribution network.
- Strategically plan and coordinate all sales activities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team, leveraging market and customer insights to implement effective marketing and sales strategies.
- Lead negotiations and maintain consistent follow-up on projects and proposals.
- Demonstrate a high level of flexibility for travel planning, exhibiting a strong willingness to travel as needed.
Your skills and talents:
- Bachelor's degree in Sciences, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Essential
- 5-7 years of demonstrable experience as an Area Sales Manager or International Sales Manager within the tech sector
- Proven expertise and training in sales, marketing, and/or product management, with a track record in international sales of capital goods
- Demonstrated ability to successfully close deals within complex organizations or small to mid-size companies
- Proven track record of being results-oriented, motivated, and possessing a strong drive to achieve goals
- A team player with a high degree of independence and excellent self-management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and effectively close deals
- Confident and charismatic with excellent communication skills in both German and English, other languages are a plus
