Customs Functional Analyst

The consultant will contribute to the efficient mapping of the ASYCUDAWorld and ASYCUDA new digital platform to regional requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the consultant will undertake following duties:

• Provide functional advise in testing and piloting new ASYCUDA components in CEECA region, including components of digital platform;
• Prepare of user acceptance test scenarios documents for key functions developed.
• Provide recommendations for finetuning functionalities of risk management and other modules
• functional analysis of inter-agency data exchange
• functional analysis of indicators of reporting and statistics
• Advanced functional trainings for governmental officials and brokers
• Provided regular inputs to project status reports and updates

Qualifications/special skills

A first university degree, Bachelor, degree in Customs, business administration, law, economics or related area is required. At least 7 years of work experience in trade, investment or customs sector is required Work experience of work in customs administration, revenue authority or trade support institution, or international organisation would be an advantage Combination of IT and Customs experience would be a strong advantage.

Languages

Fluency written and oral in Russian is required. Knowledge of English is desirable
