Popular Swiss brands Zweifel and Aromat have announced they are collaborating to launch a special, limited-edition crisp flavour. The Aromat-flavoured crisps will be available to buy in shops across Switzerland from December 1.

Aromat-flavoured crisps to hit Swiss supermarkets this winter

Zweifel, a well-loved crisp brand in Switzerland, has combined forces with Unilever-owned Aromat, a widely used household seasoning, to create limited-edition crisps flavoured with Aromat. “It doesn’t get more Swiss than this”, according to Blick.

The crisps will be available from December 1 in Swiss supermarkets and via the Zweifel online shop. The special-edition snacks will only be available while stocks last, at the latest until the end of March 2026.

New Zweifel flavour was suggested by member of the public

The unique collaboration originated in the summer of 2025 after a TikTok creator made the suggestion online, and it went viral on social media and in media outlets in Switzerland

“The idea came from you. We thought it was a perfect fit. So we made it happen,” says the Zweifel website. "For once, the product idea doesn't come from our innovation department, but directly from our consumers," continued Christoph Zweifel, CEO of Zweifel Chips & Snacks AG.

This is the first time that a new crisp flavour has been initiated by the wider community in Switzerland, reports 20 Minuten.
