Inside Sales Representative (Pharma sector)
About this role
For an international and dynamic company operating globally within the pharmaceutical and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) industry, we are currently seeking an organized, proactive, and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join their Commercial Department.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Customer Service: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing customer service activities and ensuring regular, professional communication.
Sales Administration: Handle daily commercial documentation, sales administration tasks, and maintain accurate data within the company's CRM system.
Order Management: Process customer orders through the corporate ERP system and internal tools, coordinating effectively with technical and logistics departments to ensure timely deliveries.
Area Manager Support: Provide daily operational support to the Area Manager, including sales reporting, pipeline monitoring, and business travel organization.
Business Development Support: Assist the commercial team in lead generation activities, pipeline management, and tracking new business opportunities.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Economics, Languages, or an equivalent field.
Experience: Proven experience in sales support, customer care, or commercial administration, preferably gained within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences sector.
IT Skills: Proficiency with MS Office packages and familiarity with modern ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics solutions is considered a strong plus).
Languages: Fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken) is mandatory to operate in an international environment.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills, customer-oriented approach, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.
