FanZone Vevey UEFA EURO 2024
The FanZone Vevey will be showing every match of EURO 2024 on the big screen in Jardin du Rivage for free. If you are worried your neighbours might not take kindly to hearing you shout and cheer your way through a month of football matches, come down and holler yourself hoarse with fellow fans. Food trucks will be present, so you don't have to worry about finding time to go home and cook on those double-match days.
Switzerland in EURO 2024
Switzerland is in Group A this year and is up against Germany, Hungary and Scotland. While Germany are three-time winners, they are not coming into this tournament in great shape, and Euro 2020 was Switzerland's best performance in the tournament yet, so perhaps this is the year Switzerland and Scotland team up to send Germany home shockingly early! Come and wave the Swiss flag and cheer on the Nati.
Group A fixtures
- June 14, 9pm: Germany vs Scotland
- June 15, 3pm: Hungary vs Switzerland
- June 19, 6pm: Germany vs Hungary
- June 19, 9pm: Scotland vs Switzerland
- June 23, 9pm: Switzerland vs Germany
- June 23, 9pm: Scotland vs Hungary
VIP
There will be a VIP platform available for those who don't want to miss an inch of the screen. The raised area ensures the best views of the football and a bit more elbow room than in the regular area, but must be reserved in advance via the website.
Cinema evenings and a silent party
On evenings when no football is scheduled (yes, there are some nights where this has somehow been allowed to happen), they will be screening films instead - also for free! The line-up for this will be up on their website. On June 28, there will be a special paid-entry silent party. Pop on your headphones and dance the night away to some of the best DJs in town.
How and when to get there
The event is free to access, except for the Silent Party, and will be set up in the Jardin du Rivage. It is recommended to travel by public transport as it is in the heart of Vevey. The area is also accessible to those with reduced mobility. It is open-air, so check the forecasts and prepare for the Swiss weather with sunscreen or umbrellas. It is open for every match, and you can see the full schedule on the FanZone Vevey website.
