Prepare for an active winter afternoon at Vevey on Ice (Vevey sur Glace), skating gleefully around the massive indoor skating rink with Lake Geneva as a beautiful backdrop. Vevey is known as one of the gems of the Swiss Riviera, so it's a pleasure to spend time by the lake in this beautiful town.

Winter fun at Vevey on Ice 

From late autumn through winter and right up until the spring, fun awaits you on this covered ice rink of 600 square metres. Taking place from late November until February, Vevey on Ice is a collaboration between the municipality of Vevey and the Vevey on Ice Association. It’s intended as a valuable sports and recreation facility for the inhabitants of Vevey and the surrounding area, but welcomes visitors from out of town, too.   

Skate laps around the beautiful ice rinks or take part in a game of hockey. Take a break and sip hot chocolate or order some delicious food at the cafe. 

Families and kids at Vevey on Ice

Families with kids will love Vevey on Ice! For those who want to brush up on their skating skills and impress their friends, or for people who want to make strides into figure skating, there are individual and group skating lessons for both adults and children, which take place outside the regular public opening hours. 

Practical information

Ice skates can be rented on site, or you can bring your own. There are even double-bladed ice skates available for children, for extra balance, as well as helmets for extra security. Guests are advised to wear warm winter clothes, including gloves.

Ice skating timetable

• Monday to Thursday: 10am-7pm
• Friday & Saturday: 10am-8pm
• Sunday: 10.45am-7pm

Hockey timetable

• Sunday: 9am-10.30am
