Fantoche International Animation Film Festival
Fantoche International Animation Film Festival is an annual celebration of the dynamic and adventurous world that is animation. The broad and multi-faceted programme presents feature films, compilations of animated shorts from all over the world, premieres, talks, exhibitions, workshops, masterclasses and networking events.
Exploring the boundless possibilities of animation
Fantoche was established in 1995 and described itself as a “new arrival in the Swiss festival landscape, a sapling in the shadow of Zurich’s cultural hothouse.” Its founders were inspired by a sense of idealism and the boundless possibilities of animation.
It’s equally a forum for the general public to enjoy excellence and creativity in animation as well as a meeting point for film industry professionals and animators to share ideas, network and grow professionally.
