Workday Integration Analyst
About this role
We are seeking a Workday Integration Analyst to join our global HR Technology team and support the ongoing development and optimization of our Workday integration landscape. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting integrations that enable seamless data exchange between Workday and internal as well as external systems, while ensuring data accuracy, security, and reliability.
In this role, you will work closely with Technical Partners, HR, API owners, and third-party vendors to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
What we’re looking for
- Design, develop, test and deploy Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Build and maintain inbound/outbound integrations for HCM, Payroll.
- Transform, validate and map data using XML, XSLT and scripting where required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Implement secure data transfer methods (SFTP, HTTPS, SSH, OAuth, TLS) and ensure compliance with data security policies.
- Work with API owners and third-party vendors to integrate external systems (payroll providers, timekeeping, identity management, benefits carriers).
- Create and maintain technical design documents, runbooks, test plans and deployment procedures.
- Automate deployment and monitoring processes; implement logging, retries and alerting where appropriate.
- Provide support during upgrades, tenant refreshes and change control activities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements and standards.
