Payroll Operations Analyst - LATAM
About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Operations Analyst – LATAM with 3–5 years of experience to support payroll operations across multiple countries in the LATAM region, including Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Columbia. This role is part of a global shared services environment, responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple LATAM countries.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll inputs to outsourced service providers.
- Validate payroll outputs and perform variance analysis and reconciliations.
- Monitor payroll integrations and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and review statutory filings and payments.
- Support payroll accounting activities, including GL postings, accruals, and funding.
- Handle month-end and year-end payroll activities, including reporting and audits.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation, and audit trails.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries and escalations.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure SLA adherence and issue resolution.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Accounting, or related field
- Payroll certification is an advantage
Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably supporting LATAM countries.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes in countries such as Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Columbia is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll vendors.
- Familiarity with Workday and/or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Good understanding of payroll accounting and reconciliations.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
