Java Software Engineer - Digital Payments In our development office of Biel/Bienne, our technology addresses challenges of the payment world. We provide reliable, robust and creative software solutions to ensure processing of cashless transactions in Europe and many more. Your team

  • Working on the backbone of the payment services (national and international) with applications processing more than 20 million transactions every day


Your tasks

  • Design, develop and test new features for cashless payments with state-of-the-art technologies
  • Analyze new incoming requirements, discuss and align on solutions with product owners
  • Push to production micro services with high constraints (performance, high availability, integrity, robustness, etc.) using CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain and support (3rd level) existing highly available applications by taking the end to end ownership during their entire life cycle, including on-call duty
  • Improve our continuous delivery pipeline as well as our deployment infrastructure


Your profile

  • Higher education in information technology (university degree or equivalent)
  • Very good kledge in Jakarta EE with fluency in relational databases and experience with Git, Maven, Wildfly, Docker, Kafka, Jenkins, Linux
  • Showing enthusiasm to expand one's own field of activity and a willingness to deal with old and new technologies
  • Team spirit with good decision-abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English (French or/and German is a plus)
