About this role
we are currently seeking an EHS & Quality Systems Manager for our client, Following a recent vacancy and with several key audits approaching rapidly, we are looking for an expert who could ideally be available immediately or at short notice.
EHS & Quality Systems Manager
Your Responsibilities:- Manage & Develop: Oversee EHS and Automotive Quality Systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 9001, IATF 16949, TISAX).
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to Swiss federal laws (DETEC, MSST/ASA) and local regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and eliminate workplace and environmental hazards (incidents, near-misses).
- Mitigation: Implement preventive/corrective measures and advise management on regulatory changes.
- Training: Educate teams to ensure QEHS principles are fully embedded in daily operations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Certification: Qualified "Chargé de Sécurité" (CS) or "Sicherheitsbeauftragter" (SIBE) by SUVA.
- Experience: 3+ years in a similar manufacturing role with strong ISO/IATF auditing skills.
- Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Swiss occupational safety and UN/EC directives.
- Soft Skills: Resilient, autonomous, and a strong communicator with the ability to influence others.
- Languages: Fluent in English, plus fluency in French or German.
