Whether you are a classic long-distance runner or a sprinter, the St. Moritz Running Festival has all kinds of running categories. Below you'll find all the routes that will be available at the festival. There are rest stops and food stations throughout the trails for runners to grab a quick break or a bite.
The Crossing Engadina is a long route perfect for long-distance runners. There are three main stages:
This shorter and more alpine trail is definitely a challenge for runners. It’s only 6.6 km but has a significant height of 1069 km. This race takes place on Saturday, August 20.
The Engadiner Sommerlauf is a longer route of 25.5 km, but has a stunning view along Lake St. Moritz and the Engadines. Throughout this route, visitors will be able to see some of the most breathtaking sights of the Swiss mountains and lakes. It takes place on Sunday, August 21.
The Run Postresina route has an intermediate length of 12 km, but it’s one of the faster trails for anyone that is up for a challenge, taking place on Sunday, August 21.
The festival is a fantastic place for families with kids because there is a lovely series of children's races ranging from 250 m to 4.3 km that will be held on Saturday, August 20.
Aside from running, the festival includes an entire festival village where visitors are invited to relax and chill on the lake while enjoying international and Swiss delicacies. There will also be live music playing throughout the festival with DJs on stage and a live band for the grand finale on Saturday evening. Additionally, the festival also hosts a peaceful yoga on the lake session for all.
