Project Description

• Our client will do workplace rollouts at our 5 international manufacturing and logistics locations in the next 6-8 months.
• The volume of workplaces is around 15-50, depending on the location.
• The challenge is not the number of workplaces, but the complexity (application landscape, shift work production) with our manufacturing and logistics workplaces.

For that, we are looking for a senior workplace rollout manager than can start work immediately for 6-8 months.


Expectations:

• The workplace rollout manager is part of the project team and reports to the project manager.
• The workplace rollout manager has to organize, plan and execute the workplace rollout for each of our locations in a self responsible manner.
• Therefore we expect experience in organizing, managing and executing workplace rollout. The workplace rollout manager has done 2-3 workplace rollouts in the past, preferably in manufacturing areas and internationally.
• od understanding about networks, IP, zoning, also about Azure Intune and Citrix, O365, MS Teams in order to follow our overall IT concept principles, within that the workplace rollout takes place.
• We expect, that the workplace rollout manager actually does the physical installation of the workplaces, installing PCs, monitors etc, according to our guidelines. Production and manufacturing facilities may be dusty and loud.
• We need someone with practical hands-on attitude and has no problem to crawl under the table and look for the right cable.
• From the project team, we might provide a junior IT supporter for cabling, box moving. 
• The workplace rollout will take place at our locations around Europe and possibly in USA, therefore, traveling for a couple of days up to 2-3 weeks is essential.
• Project language is English, therefore good English skills in writing and speaking is required.

Additional skills that add value to the project:

• At some locations we have to either rollout O365 or migrate from a O365 tenant for all users, including MS Teams, Data, etc.
• Therefore, very good O365 rollout skills and migration skills are a benefit and can broaden the field of action and responsibility for the workplace rollout manager.
• Our company also uses Citrix as a desktop environment, Citrix skills are a benefit for the workplace rollout manager
