IT Infrastructure Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support
• 3rd Level support in cooperation with external support
• User account administration (creating, modifying, deactivating)
• Installation of servers, printers, workstations and laptops (physical and virtual)
• Website administration
• Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
• Proactively ensure systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources

 Requirements:

• Computer science education with 1-2 years experience
• Kledge of IT systems and infrastructures
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Communication and interpersonal abilities

Experience with:

• Microsoft OS (Server & Client) and Office Products
• Hardware: Laptop, Desktop, Server
• Kledge of cloud computing (Office365, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
• Virtualization and containerization e.g. Hyper-V, VMware, etc.
• Building and maintaining security systems
• Network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
• Fluent in English and German
