The Experience
The Account Executive, Marketing Cloud, is part of the Swiss Sales team focused on driving growth of Salesforce Marketing Cloud within the Manufacturing and Automotive sector. In this role, you will manage both new and existing accounts — breaking into new business, growing existing relationships, and helping customers transform their businesses using Salesforce's leading marketing technology platform.
We are looking for an Account Executive who is driven, customer-focused, and passionate about value-based selling, with a proven track record of closing new business and exceeding targets.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Drive pipeline development through a combination of prospecting, email campaigns, and market intelligence, working closely with Business Development Representatives to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline within the Manufacturing and Automotive sector in Switzerland.
- Engage with prospect and existing organisations to position Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, and return on investment analysis.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle through engagement of appropriate resources including core sales teams, Solution Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners.
- Maintain accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery while strengthening client relationships through regular engagement and in-person meetings.
You're Our Person If...
- You have a proven track record of net new business sales and existing business upsell, with demonstrated overachievement of quota and revenue goals in a software or technology sales environment.
- You have strong sales forecasting abilities and credibility with both customers and internal stakeholders, with experience managing complex sales cycles across enterprise accounts.
- You are fluent in German and English (spoken and written) and are based in Switzerland.
- You bring energy, drive, and a genuine passion for helping customers grow their businesses through technology.
Even Better If...
- You have direct experience selling Marketing Technology, Marketing Automation, or Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions into the Manufacturing or Automotive sector.
- You have familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and experience working with cross-functional teams including Solution Engineers and Professional Services.
