R&D Project Engineer (m/w)

Your tasks:

  • Design, communicate and implement an operational plan for completing development projects
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan to meet project milestones
  • Explore novel concepts, approaches or insights for developing high-performance composite materials (elastomer laminates)
  • Identify, develop and gather the resources necessary to complete projects. This may include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors
  • Estimate costs, resources and time required to complete a development project and monitor activities, allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure the targets are met
  • Liaise with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project
  • Select and manage external contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within the project team and with all the stakeholders
  • Ensure that Quality and Health-Safety-Environmental procedures are followed 

Your profile:

  • Degree in Science/Engineering or related subject
    at least with a Bachelor’s degree (technical college/university)
  • Experience with moulding tools & machinery
  • Several years of development experience in pharmaceutical/medical products (alternatively automotive sector)
  • Kledge of ISO standards and elastomer products is an advantage
  • Experience with validations in Pharma or Medical device field
  • Hands-on, thorough and efficient work approach
  • Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Proven leadership and project management skills
  • Proficient in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Performance-oriented, analytical, dynamic and motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Kledge of GMP rules
