Project Manager - Compliance (One-year contract)
About this role
We are seeking a motivated and solutions-oriented Project Manager to join our Corporate Compliance team in Baar. In this role, you will work closely with Corporate Compliance teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and the business to support and enhance the Group’s Ethics and Compliance Programme (GECP), with a particular focus on processes, controls, and systems. You will contribute to key projects aimed to optimise workflows, improve efficiency and leverage technology to improve and maintain our control framework. The ideal candidate brings a solid analytical background, effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
The main tasks and responsibilities include
- Plan and coordinate workstreams across functions, tracking milestones, dependencies, and deadlines to keep the programme on schedule.
- Monitor progress across workstreams, following up with workstream leads and stakeholders to ensure commitments are met and escalating blockers promptly.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, decision logs, and meeting minutes.
- Support the formalisation and documentation of business and functional requirements, working closely with subject matter experts and IT teams.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including tracking defects, and consolidating results.
- Prepare materials for steering committees, working groups, and stakeholder meetings, including presentations, progress dashboards, and briefing notes.
- Support business readiness activities, including training coordination, communications planning, and cutover preparation.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and interdependencies, flagging them to the programme manager and proposing mitigation actions.
- Drive continuous improvement within the project, identifying inefficiencies in processes and proposing practical solutions.
The ideal candidate
- Effective communicator (both orally and in written), able to clearly articulate status, risks, and next steps to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience supporting project or programme delivery, ideally on multi-phase technology or platform implementation projects; experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal transformation programmes is a strong advantage.
- Advanced organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple workstreams, manage competing priorities, and keep people and progress on track.
- Proactive and self-driven – comfortable stepping beyond a pure support role to anticipate needs, flag issues, and drive actions forward without being asked.
- Ability to build trusted working relationships across functions, including business teams, IT, and senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and structured, with a disciplined approach to documentation, action tracking, and maintaining a clear audit trail.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination or project management, with direct exposure to platform or enterprise system implementation projects.
- Background in compliance, legal, regulatory, risk, or consultancy environments is a plus.
- Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as Jira or MS Project is an advantage.
- Prior experience supporting UAT, requirements gathering, or business readiness activities in the context of a platform launch is particularly valued.
- Fluent in English (corporate language).
