Business Analyst - Madrid Based

Randstad Digital Switzerland is looking for a talented Business Analyst to support our client. In this role, you will join a centralized team dedicated to enhancing the efficiency, governance, and overall excellence of software project management practices.

You will be working on a project defining and validating current payment processing within their finance systems so previous experience of payment systems or payment flows would be highly valuable.

 

You will contribute across the entire software project lifecycle by turning complex business needs into successful, tangible solutions:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and prioritize clear and complete business requirements.

  • Process Modeling & Data Analysis: Create visual "as-is" and "to-be" process maps to drive efficiency. Analyze data trends to provide actionable insights while ensuring data quality.

  • Solution Design: Partner with solution architects and designers to translate needs into functional specifications, mock-ups, or prototypes.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate seamless communication, ensuring business, technical, and project teams are perfectly aligned.

  • Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Define test cases, participate in testing activities, and proactively identify project risks to develop mitigation strategies.

  • Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain high-quality documentation (requirement docs, project plans, user manuals) and monitor implemented solutions for future optimization.

 

We would love to hear from you if you bring the following profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Business Analyst, specifically bridging the gap between business requirements and technical specifications.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, process modeling, and data analysis tools.

  • Methodologies: Solid knowledge of Agile software project management methodologies, SDLC, and JIRA.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and stellar communication/interpersonal skills.

  • Nice-to-Haves: Professional Business Analysis certifications are a definite plus.

This role is based in Madrid and so we will only consider canidates already based within daily communting to the city.
