Salary: CHF 95’000 - 120’000 per year
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in IT architecture, software development, ideally in the Finance industry.
- Strong affinity with operations and ability to manage stressful periods.
- Proficiency in Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- **Ideally:**
- Experience in Finance and core banking software (T24, GTExchange, GTFrame, GTMatch).
- Experience in software architecture.
- Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with queuing systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
Responsibilities:
- The Python, PHP, PostgreSQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data architectures and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in these technologies and a deep interest in data architecture. The Developer has also an experience in the Finance industry.
- Tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
- Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures and pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications and data systems remain competitive and up-to-date.
