Business Analyst (m/w/d) 100%

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Analyst to join a major Finance IT transformation programme within the leading insurance company based in Zurich, Switzerland.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a Finance Target Architecture (Azure Databricks), supporting end-to-end finance data flows from data ingestion and enrichment through to reporting capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive business analysis activities for the implementation of the Finance Target Architecture.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and translate business requirements into high-quality user stories and work items in Azure DevOps.
• Work closely with software development teams and Finance IT to deliver finance data solutions.
• Analyse and document the current state of finance data and perform gap analyses.
• Define and document source system data derivation rules.
• Support data modelling and integration within a complex data landscape.
• Prepare test data, execute testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support go-live activities and the transition into Business as Usual (BAU).

What we're looking for:

• 3  5 years of Business Analyst experience delivering complex Agile projects.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Finance and accounting knowledge.
• Experience working with complex data models and enterprise data landscapes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear, high-quality documentation in English.
• A curious, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment.
