Junior Order Management Professional

For our client, a global leader in energy technology based in Zürich, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Order Management Professional. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a proactive individual to start their career in a dynamic, international environment, supporting vital supply chain and customer service operations.



 

General Information

 

• Location: Zürich

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: approx. 7 months (with an option of an extension or permanent position after the project)

• Workload: 100% (onsite for the first 2-3 months / then the possibility to have 1 day/week of remote work)
  
  
  
  
   

Your Responsibilities

 

• Ensure efficient and accurate input of customer orders into order management system
• Prepare and send timely order confirmations and commercial contracts to customers
• Proactively track status of each customer orders, coordinating and pushing internal stakeholders to guarantee the confirmed delivery date to customer
• Inform customer in case of deviations to current plan
• Coordinate our export team to guarantee deliveries to customers are organized in accordance to confirmed delivery date
• You will follow up on payment status with customers to limit overdue
• Organize and supervise factory acceptances test, performed with the participation of the client
• Collaborate closely with other teams/departments to solve any additional requirements from the customer and to improve current internal processes
• Prepare/analyze current performances and provide results to management

 

Your Qualifications

 

• Experience Level: This is a Junior role. No extensive prior experience is required, making it ideal for those entering the workforce.  Ideally 2 or 3 years of previous experience in the role of working with customer orders into an order management system.

• Fulfilment experience in any background (industrial or not)
• Experience with SAP is highly preferable
• Solid Experience with MS Package is also highly preferable
• Experience in Power BI is a plus
• Team player yet ability to work independently

• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. German is a plus.
