Junior DevOps Engineer MRP
About this role
In the Midrange Protection team, you work at the intersection of security engineering, automation and large-scale operations. We provide and operate enterprise security services that are based on agents and backend systems and integrate them into a complex and heterogeneous environment.
You work on end-to-end security services built from agents, backend components and automation tooling, ensuring they integrate reliably into complex and constantly changing enterprise environments.
Our scope includes more than 60'000 agents across Windows, Linux and other platforms as well as the backend infrastructures integrations and operational processes required to run those services efficiently at scale.
The environment is dynamic, highly integrated and continuously evolving, which makes automation, clean engineering and operational awareness essential.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build and run security services and backend systems
- Automate processes and replace manual, repetitive tasks
- Ensure stable and efficient operation of services
- Support rollout, configuration and maintenance of security services
- Test, validate and safely deploy changes to production
- Document solutions for maintainability and knowledge sharing
Your skills
- Completed vocational training or higher education in Computer Science (EFZ, HF, FH or university)
- Experience in a DevOps, Systems Engineering or comparable technical role
- Strong automation-first mindset with solid scripting experience
- Hands-on experience with configuration and automation tools such as Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Git, etc.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with Azure services or strong motivation to develop skills in this area
- Knowledge of monitoring, testing and operational observability
- Ability to design automation-first solutions that are scalable and operationally sustainable
- Very good German and English
