As part of the Global Supply Chain community you will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the planning & purchasing processes for the assigned Category. You’ll manage the planning, forecasting and ordering to the suppliers in order to replenish the distribution center or country, with the objective of having goods ready to fulfil the Operations’ needs. 

Your main responsibilities 
  • Manage input parameters in the planning system: demand influencing factors, logistics parameters (lead times, safety stock, etc.), check sales forecast of novelties in forecast, apply at item level in planning system
  • Generate Purchase Orders to vendors: normal replenishment orders, novelties and promotions
  • Follow-up purchase orders: SAP orders maintenance, monitor deliveries from vendors, manage discrepancies, best before dates, RTV
  • Analyze and monitor vendors’ performance and provide input for the meetings with vendors: delivery completion, on-time deliveries
  • Liaise with master data and procurement in relation to the correctness of SAP vendors and entities in Master data.
  • Manage DC inventory levels at item level for brands in scope: quality (ABC mix), slow and non-movers, vs. budget, depletion of seasonal products and availability
  • Manage the DC planning process and ordering process for vendors in scope: follow-up purchase orders placed and flow of orders, order approvals, OTB approvals for global category
  • Track availability, receipt and forecast of novelties
  • Plan and place central purchases for drop orders to countries in line with overall category OTB

 Your profile 

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience in Supply and Demand Planning and Forecasting with international suppliers
  • Analytical mindset and close attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and particularly excellent Excel skills
  • od organizational, coordination and negotiation skills
  • A flexible attitude with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • An initiative and open-minded personality, reliable and self-driven with can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English a must
