About this role
For one of our clients, a leader in the construction and engineering sector, we are looking for a Planner for their Lugano office.
Responsibilities:- Analyze, study, and constantly update the general work schedule and ensure compliance with the timelines imposed on subcontractors.
- Compare the contractual work schedule with the actual work schedule.
- Compare on-site time and costs with project budgets and timelines.
- Assist site management and report directly to the Project Manager (PM).
- Coordinate the submission of subcontractors' work schedules and monitor compliance.
- Schedule consortium supplies within the timeframes set for the site and procurement.
- Evaluate project optimizations in terms of time.
- Identify potential critical issues in meeting the work schedule and prepare monthly reports.
- Participate in meetings with the Consortium team and the client.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Experience as a general contractor
- Excellent knowledge of MS Project and general proficiency with Office tools
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Ability to work under pressure
- Native Italian speaker with excellent knowledge of English (German and French are desirable)
- Solid knowledge of concrete structures, metal carpentry, and systems (electrical and mechanical)
- Knowledge of BIM
