From Anne Hathaway advertising the Grand Tour and Trevor Noah on the Goldenpass Express to a cheeky phone call with Robert De Niro, Switzerland isn’t afraid of adding a little stardust when advertising itself. Mads Mikkelsen advertising autumn in Switzerland

The new ad from Switzerland Tourism casts Mikkelsen, an award-winning star best known for his role as Le Chiffre in the James Bond film Casino Royale, as a bonafide tree hugger more content to immerse himself in all that autumn in Switzerland has to offer than get on with the ad.

Roger Federer returns to star in new ad for Switzerland

As with De Niro, Hathaway and Noah, Mikkelsen was joined in the ad by retired Swiss tennis star Roger Federer. As one of the best-known Swiss people in the world, it’s no surprise that he lent his star power to the production.
