Hotel in Zermatt ranked as one of the top five best hotels in the world

As a country with stunning mountains, lakes and ski resorts, it’s only natural that Switzerland is home to some of the world's finest hotels. Confirming this, users on Tripadvisor have ranked THE OMNIA in Zermatt as the fifth best hotel in the world.

The Travelers’ Choice Awards by Tripadvisor is a ranking of the best hotels, destinations and experiences around the world. Thousands of user reviews are combined to create a ranking of the very best the world has to offer, whether it is taking a canal cruise in Amsterdam or conquering the Sahara by dune-buggy.
Perfect for fans of the James Bond films, THE OMNIA hotel sits on a rock surrounded by famous Swiss mountains, 1.600 metres above sea level. A cave-like entrance leads guests into a sea of luxury that needs to be seen to be believed.
THE OMNIA in Zermatt is "the best of the best"
With great terrace views of the surrounding area, delicious food and impeccable service, it is no surprise that the hotel has been ranked by Tripadvisor as the fifth best hotel in the world and the best hotel in Switzerland. With the rest of the top five being located in luxurious destinations like Costa Rica, Brazil, Greece and Turkey, THE OMNIA is in very good company.
Reviewers praised the luxury hotel for its “sensational service, outdoor spa, whisky selection, unbelievable schnitzel and the view from the terrace.” Another said that the hotel was simply the “best of the best in every possible way.”
