This brisk winter season, grab your skates and head over to Sent on Ice! This beautiful natural ice rink is the perfect place to be this winter. Along with doing a few laps around the ice rink, visitors can enjoy the magnificent panorama of the mountains of the Lower Engadine.

A stunning ice rink

Sent is an Engadine mountain village that lies 1.440 metres above sea level, and it is located high above the River Inn on a sunny plateau, sporting beautiful views of the Lower Engadine Dolomites.

The rink is located at the entrance of the village, and it is free of charge during the cold winter season. Visitors are welcome to bring their own skates, however, skates can be rented at the ice rink as well.

Sent is a great place to for adults as well as children; fingers crossed that the weather is great for skating this winter season.

In addition to an ice rink, the area around Sent features other winter activities such as skiing, sledging, and snowboarding, to name a few.  There are also excursions visitors can take to explore life in a mountaineering village.
