Dolder Open-Air Ice Skating Rink (Dolder Kunsteisbahn), located near the Dolder Grand Hotel, welcomes visitors young and old to enjoy ice skating, ice hockey and Bavarian curling. Built in 1930 on a hilltop overlooking the city of Zurich, the ice rink boasts a staggering 6.000 square metres of ice!

Besides skating laps around the gigantic ice rink, there are plenty of other activities to partake in at Dolder Open-Air Ice Skating Rink. The venue is famous for its recreational ice hockey or "Chneble". There are also classes in Bavarian curling and ice sculpture, as well as the occasional ice rink disco!
During the festive season leading up to Christmas, a massive Christmas tree is strategically positioned in the middle of the ice rink, to provide a heart-warming festive feeling! This, combined with a warm drink in the cosy restaurant guarantees you a winter experience to remember. This year, you can even go skating on December 24!

Renting skates
Ice skates can be rented at the ice rink, or visitors can bring their own ice skates. There are plenty of measures for safety on the ice for kids: double-bladed ice skates, skating aids and helmets are available for children. Visitors are strongly recommended to wear gloves and other warm winter clothes.

- Monday to Saturday: 9am-10.30pm
- Sunday: 9am-5.45pm
- Exception: Closed on Wednesdays from 5.30pm-7.00pm due to training sessions
