A four-day music festival in the heart of the beautiful town of Vevey, Vibiscum Festival may only be three years old but it's quickly become a staple date on the summer calendar.

The Place du Marché in Vevey, sitting right on the banks of Lake Leman, seems almost too quaint a location to hold a music festival. Yet if you come down from May 30, you'll find a full stage, food trucks and a VIP area ready to entertain you. Started in 2022 to help raise money for the local football club, Vibiscum Festival is an astounding success story. It has now expanded to four days of varied music and the festival has a real focus on good vibes and having a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, ensuring there is something here for everyone.

4 days of fun, 4 genres of music
A unique feature of the festival is that each day features totally different music. Thursday is hip-hop day while Friday is for the rock lovers. Saturday is given over to electro music and on Sunday, they bring out the chairs for a more genteel afternoon of classical music. Tickets are available for each day individually, or if you have a broad taste in music, you can buy a single ticket that gets you in for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
What to see at Vibiscum Festival 2024
Thursday has big names on the bill, including Belgian rapper Hamza and Swiss Music Award winner KT Gorique. The Friday features hot new UK band The Crawlers, as well as high energy punk band Shaka Ponk in one of their last ever shows. Electro Saturday has three top DJs (Lost Frequencies, Hardwell and Seth Hills), as well as warm up sets by local up-and-coming artists.
Sunday offers a change of pace as the dance floor is transformed into a seated venue for the classical music lover. Standing tickets will be available at the back, but rest assured, the festival knows that Sundays are about relaxing. With seven different pieces lined up, including favourites from The Nutcracker and La Traviata, what better way to chill out after three days of hard dancing and rocking out.

VIP Treatment
Fancy treating yourself and your friends? There are two amazing VIP packages available for visitors. One includes unlimited food and drink at the Château de l'Aile, as well as a separated platform close to the stage to ensure the best view of the acts. The other is a "Light"option, and that gives access to the VIP platform to view the stage, the exclusive bar area and the private toilets.

Ticket information is available from the festival website. As it is a city centre festival, it is not recommend to come by car as parking is limited. There are plenty of public transport options available, and the site is just 500 metres from the main train station. Vevey itself is just 20 minutes by public transport from Lausanne, so you can come for the day or choose to stay over in the cute little town.
