Data Product Manager - (80-100%) (w|m|d) - Zürich - Hybrid Work

We help more than 200k users search for their next home daily. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure serves 2.2 million daily page views in the AWS Cloud using serverless technologies.
Responsibilities
- Productionize and monetize the company’s valuable data assets around real estate regarding published listings and search demand
- Ownership of data as a product/service - consumed within the company by feature teams building data-based products and externally with data sharing receiving partners
- Manage the product life cycle (design, delivery, launch), collaborating with the different feature teams/consumers of data services and products, discovering how product strategy maps with data asset collection & data use case strategy
- Steer the problem discovery research phase, data use case exploration, requirement gathering, scope and success metric definition in collaboration with stakeholders
- Translate business requirements to define epics, user stories manage data product/service delivery within data science / ML, data engineering and data analyst teams
- Continued development, adaptation, improvement and support of existing data products/services as part of lifecycle management
- Decide strategically on internal and external data asset collection and synergy effects on data product creation
- Seek opportunities and setup data-sharing contracts with external customers for direct data monetization
- You have a technical, analytical or scientific educational background (e.g. data science, data engineering, business intelligence) or comparable professional experience
- You have (data) product management experience in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and you are able to shape data product discovery and delivery according to lean/agile principles
- You can couple your strong business sense with a broad understanding of methodologies related to Data Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, Analytics, understanding possibilities and limitations
- You have no problem with navigating ambiguous situations and have a profound problem solver attitude
- Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills help you in building strong relationships and handle expectation management
- You are highly proficient in English, written and spoken
- You have a minimum of 3 years work experience
nice to have
- Real Estate industry or digital marketplace experience
- Hands-on experience working with data in a data engineer, ML engineer, data scientist, data analyst role
- Technical kledge of modern cloud data stacks
- German or French language skills
