What you're going to do

You are familiar with the insurance market and have an affinity for digital solutions. On this basis, you will build up a new product business with your own and scalable market services for the Market Unit «Insurance» to complement the existing client project business. The market for digital solutions for insurance companies is constantly evolving. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping this development at Adnovum as part of the expansion of the strategic offering.You build a relevant network including insurance clients, partners, consultants and InsurTechs and use the existing one effectively. When applying methods such as jobs-to-be-done or other client research activities, you will be supported by a highly competent and motivated team of technical specialists as well as by an experienced innovation specialist. Thanks to your own project budget, you will be free to develop new business solutions. In the role of Senior Intrapreneur (80–100%) you report directly to the Managing Director Insurance and assume the following responsibilities:

  • Identifying real business potential at the interface of business/IT resulting from challenges in the insurance market
  • Developing scalable products and business models
  • Initiating, accompanying and executing innovation projects for the insurance market (end-to-end responsibility)
  • Establishing and communicating with strategic partnerships with clients, consulting companies, InsurTechs, brokers, associations, etc. to jointly develop insurance solutions (co-creation)
  • Creating content for marketing initiatives and collaborating with the Marketing team on blog posts, campaigns and events/webinars

What we're looking for

  • A master's degree (university/ETH/university of applied sciences)
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking and a clear can-do attitude
  • Several years of experience in the development of new products and a successful go-to-market strategy
  • A proven track record in launching new products or start-ups
  • A broad network in the Swiss insurance industry
  • A natural passion for developing new business
  • Affinity for digital solutions and services as well as an intrest in state-of-the-art technologies, methods and their use
  • Strong negotiation as well as communication skills, service- and client-oriented way of thinking and working
  • Result-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset and a high degree of independence
  • Fluent in German and English
