Talent & Performance Manager - German speaking

This role Talent & Performance Manager is high visibility and acts as the figurehead for our clients store and field teams in Switzerland. You’ll take the lead on their strategy for recruiting their field teams across a number of different formats for their current and future clients, developing best in class onboarding and induction plans, their ongoing training proposition, and will ultimately be tasked with driving fantastic customer experiences and sales performances through their operations, developing their talent to create the leaders and teams of the future. 

You’ll inspire and challenge your teams in all aspects of their store & field operations, working to improve productivity, customer service, the employee experience, and ultimately the delivery of sales and experience KPIs. You’ll take accountability for team performance and drive a culture of continuous improvement, working collaboratively with their customers, internal & external stakeholders to deliver best in class staffing teams.


Accountabilities:
The key accountabilities will include but not limited to 


Great Service Drives Sales:

  • Create and lead customer focused, performance orientated teams, who create highly experiential environments across their clients and projects
  • Delivery of large scale and complex staffing projects, both ‘tactical’ and ‘ongoing’ in nature, ensuring that the right number of high quality and performance-driven staff are trained, deployed, and managed in their field roles to drive customer acquisition numbers to target levels.
  • Lead performance management of teams to ensure excellence of delivery; lead from the front in the delivery of key KPI’s


Be The Expert In Our Field 

  • Curate and lead our training proposition, which focuses on developing the performance of their field teams and retaining their top talent 
  • Lead their induction and onboarding programme to immerse new recruits into both their own culture and also that of their clients and partners. 
  • Develop a reporting suite which enables them to both self-assess and demonstrate their staffing performance to their clients across core KPIs (turnover, retention, sickness & absence, hours to budget, store cover, team profile etc)

  • Develop a range of recruitment strategies suited to each client or project, to attract and retain the best possible talent, often recruiting at scale and at pace across Switzerland
  • Implement simple and effective processes for regularly reviewing individual performance and creating sustainable personal development plans to drive continuous improvement 
  • Create talent maps and succession plans, ensuring we always have a pipeline of talent to deliver across multiple projects 


About you 

  • We’re looking for an inspirational leader who’s obsessed with getting the best from their teams. 
  • You’ll need to be equally confident and comfortable dealing with key contacts from their clients and partner’s businesses, presenting to large groups, and one to one team management – at all times focused on attracting, developing and retaining the best talent to create successful teams.
  • You should have experience in recruitment, creating and delivering training programmes, and with developing teams at both the macro and micro level. This is a strategic role which will also be hands-on at times, and will require regular travel across Switzerland, particularly in Zurich.
  • You’ll need to be fluent in German and English, and French & Italian would be advantageous.
