Senior Accountant

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Responsible for month-end, quarterly and annual financial closure in accordance with OR and US GAAP
• Optimize and digitalize various finance and accounting processes
• Responsible for Swiss VAT and coordination of foreign VAT reimbursement
• In charge of cash management and weekly forecasts
• The management of fixed assets and annual inventory.
• Ensure that local practices comply with BCG global policies and local requirements
• Active participation and support of external and internal audit
• Monthly review and update of local policies and process descriptions
• Timely preparation and submission of statistics data
• Backups for AP, IC, and third-party invoicing.
• Support by implementation of new ERP system and other financial projects

 YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Completed studies in Accounting or Finance (Uni, FH), CPA certificate is beneficial
• Fluency in German and English is an absolute must-have
• 5+ years or of relevant experience, preferably in professional services in an international company
• Expertise in Swiss Statutory reporting and US GAAP requirements
• Well-founded kledge of relevant business applications (e.g. MS Office, especially Excel, SAP, Business Objects, Oracle, Hyperion)
• High level of integrity and discretion
• Flexibility to work in an environment that has short-term shifts in priorities
• Proactive personality with the willingness to take initiative and responsibility
