Librarian and EAL Teacher with IB PYP and DP Experience

Key ResponsibilitiesLibrary Management:

  • Oversee and enrich the school library, ensuring it supports the IB curriculum and fosters a passion for reading and research.
  • Collaborate with faculty to provide resources that enhance classroom learning and research projects.
  • Develops, plans and implements children's educational programmes, including publicity, preparation of book displays and class visits.

IB Programme and ATL Skills Expertise:

  • Guide students in the IB PYP Exhibition, the grade 10 Project, and DP Extended Essay, offering expertise and support.
  • Familiarize both students and staff with the IB ATL skills, teaching and reinforcing these skills within the curriculum.
  • Conduct workshops and create resources to aid in understanding and implementing the IB core components and ATL skills.

EAL Instruction:

  • Provide specialized EAL instruction in small group settings, catering to diverse language proficiency levels.
  • Assess and track student progress in English language development.
  • Develop instructional strategies and materials tailored to English language learners.


  • Qualified teacher, at least 5 years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in library management and EAL teaching.
  • Strong kledge of the IB PYP and DP, including familiarity with the Exhibition, grade 10 Project, and Extended Essay.
  • Proficiency in teaching and supporting the IB ATL skills.
  • Excellent organizational, collaborative, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
