Background:The local business function lead or main functional contact (MFC) is the main contact for the region/site/function in the workstream and is empowered to speak on behalf of the site or function. This role represents the workstream’s subject matter experts (SMEs) in the interaction with the ASPIRE Core Workstream. The regional/local business function lead has the overall accountability for the successful regional/local deployment of their respective functional area. This role will be responsible for a wide range of deliverables of activities commencing with local Fit-Gap preparation and culminating with cutover/ramp-up/demobilization. Each business function lead may have a number of SMEs dedicated to the team in order to deliver the scope. The number of SMEs may vary by stream depending upon volumes/complexity. The perfect candidate:We are looking for a Senior Business SAP Functional Lead who has a Manufacturing background from a pharmaceutical environment with GxP experience. The candidate needs to have fluent German communication skills as he or she needs to cooperate with the manufacturing site. General Information:

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Site Functional MAKE Workstream SMEs activities, work items and timely input to the Core Functional Workstream as appropriate/needed
  • Actively participate in Sprint information loop sessions (report out)
  • Set up a platform for regular (min. monthly) interaction with the global MFC communities
  • Review and resolve workstream site project-related issues
  • Participates in work stream meetings and workshops as requested
  • Liaise with the local Deployment Lead, who is leading the local ASPIRE team, to stay aligned at the site level
  • Actively participate in the local ASPIRE team meetings led by the Site Deployment Lead and inform the Team members of current activities in the respective workstream
  • The local focal point for their respective deploying function/stream locally
  • Contribute to site workstream local projects’ plan and activities
  • Lead the local fit-gap for their function and be accountable for maximising Template adoption and minimising localisation or developments
  • Ultimately responsible (with SMEs) for the quality and sign-off of migrated as fit for purpose and meeting Aspire needs
  • Develop business case/user requirements for any localisations
  • Use Case definition and preparation of data and systems for prototyping and testing
  • Responsible for helping to organise Site Localisation / Site UAT / Site System Readiness / Site Preparation, Training, and SOP in their respective workstream
  • Consulted on Design & Review of Technical Specifications
  • Provide functional leadership and content kledge for data cleansing and data migration.
  • Participate in data cleansing and data migration, mapping, transformation and defect resolution.
  • Consulted on User Acceptance Test cases and execution of UATs
  • Run Local SMEs network as required for that functional workstream
  • Ensure successful implementation; actively contribute to Change Impact Assessments, System Impact Assessments, remediation actions, training etc.
  • Lead the relevant local SOP assessments and subsequent retire/update

 Preferred experiences:

  • Master's degree in Business administration, Manufacturing or Supply Chain
  • Min. 5 years experience in Global IT Projects within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry (GxP)
  • Min. 3 years of SAP PP.PI experience or equivalent
  • Comprehensive function and manufacturing site kledge
  • Strong Leadership experience including people leading and influencing experience
  • Fluent in German and English language skills both written & spoken
  • Demonstrated delivery focus and execution
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, to quickly establish rapport, and achieve results with and through others at all levels within the organization
  • Able to lead without direct authority, superior problem solving skills, strong time and self-management skills, outstanding facilitation and presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to rapidly analyse data and identify issues and risks
  • od kledge of cultural differences and the impact of this on communication and working styles
  • You are willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone to learn new skills in a rapidly changing environment and have the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
