Laboratory Technician (m/f/d)

For one of our Clients, a medical diagnostics company, we are looking for a motivated Laboratory Technician (Research Assistant) who enjoys working in a hands-on, multi-technology environment.


In this role, you will work with different analytical platforms and have the opportunity to broaden your technical expertise across a variety of instruments. You will be part of a collaborative team that values reliability, curiosity, and practical problem-solving.

• Contract: temporary contract via Randstad
• Workplace: Rotkreuz
• Workload: 100%
• Home Office: possible occasionally, mainly on-site position

Tasks & Responsibilities:
 

• Plan analysis with support from supervisory staff
• Prepare standards and samples
• Perform experiments on different instruments
• Data analysis with support from supervisory staff
• Document experiments
• Escalate issues when things are not going according to plan
• Recommend next steps based on data generated
• Drive efforts to gain efficiency within work packages
• Organize and manage their own time within scope of assigned work packages
• Ordering and maintaining stocks of material

Must Haves:
 

• Completed Education as Lab Technician (Analytical Chemistry/ Chemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology) - MSc and PhD graduates are considered overqualified
• Min. 2-3 years of work experience in a Lab Environment within Academic research or Industry (Pharma,MedTech)
• Initial experience with Liquid Chromatography and PCR
• First experience in statistical data analysis & evaluation
• Fluent in English
• Strong interest for practical lab work
• Able to think multidirectional
• Teamplayer

• German is a Plus
