About this role
The National Coordinator will provide the following outputs:
- Output 1: by 28th February 2026
- Work plans designed and validated for Working groups on Sargassum value chain development in Grenada
- Coastal community characterisation conducted and results analysed and presented to government and private sector partners
- Consolidated stakeholder and contact list established, including public, private and MSME partners
- Monthly written report with updates of activities, outputs and follow-up actions completed
- Output 2: by 31st March 2026
- Presentations and reports on project objectives and activities in Grenada developed
- MOUs developed with selected support institutions for roll out of capacity building and market and investment linkages support
- Companies / social enterprises selected for market and investment linkages and capacity building support based on gaps identified
- Monthly written report with updates of activities, outputs and follow-up actions completed
- Output 3: by 30th April 2026
- Work plans developed with selected companies / social enterprises and validated by companies and partners
- Monthly written report with updates of activities, outputs and follow-up actions completed
- Output 4: by 31st May 2026
- Workshops, trainings and technical assistance conducted with key private and public partners
- Monthly written report with updates of activities, outputs and follow-up actions completed
- Output 5: by 30th June 2026
- Commercial alliances and market linkages facilitated between value chain operators, for improved business transactions of value‑added Sargassum products
- Preparation of value chain operators and support institutions in project activities supported (including capacity building trainings, B2B meetings, e‑commerce, trade shows etc.)
- Output 6: by 25th July 2026
- Alliances activated resulting in improvements in food security, value addition and sales transactions increased as a result of support provided
- Inputs provided to project progress and results reporting, including impact data and case studies, in line with the project logframe
