The International Trade Centre (ITC) assists developing and transition economies to take advantage of expanding trade opportunities in an increasingly complex global environment. ITC supports “Trade Impact for Good”, promoting sustainable and inclusive development goals through trade. The office of Latin America and the Caribbean (OLAC) has the responsibility to lead ITC’s contribution to the development of trade capacity in beneficiary countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The functions entail developing meaningful partnerships with stakeholders, particularly with clients and donors, as well as to design and implement coherent projects and programmes tailored to country and regional trade development needs. The goal of this function is to contribute to the successful implementation of assigned projects, particularly to assist with the tasks of planning, monitoring and reporting, including assistance with the coordination of operations, communications, and internal processes for effective delivery of resources and activities. This role will entail constant communication and coordination between ITC headquarters and the technical teams in-country.
