Job Title: Product Technical Owner & Solution Architect

Location: Geneva, Switzerland (hybrid: onsite + remote)
Contract Type: Initial 6-month contract (with possible extension)
Start Date: May 2026 (indicative)

About the Role

We are supporting a leading international organization undergoing a major digital transformation of its enterprise systems landscape. To support this evolution, we are looking for a Product Technical Owner & Solution Architect who will provide both strategic product leadership and hands-on technical architecture expertise across a portfolio of enterprise applications.

This is a high-impact role combining product ownership, solution design, and technical governance, ensuring that systems are scalable, integrated, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Management & Strategy

  • Own the lifecycle of multiple enterprise applications
  • Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business priorities
  • Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and define product vision
  • Evaluate and recommend system improvements, replacements, or retirements
  • Define KPIs and monitor product performance
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners

2. Solution Architecture

  • Design end-to-end technical solutions for new and existing systems
  • Define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
  • Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of solutions
  • Lead architecture reviews and guide development teams
  • Define data models and governance frameworks

3. System Implementation & Delivery

  • Oversee implementation and configuration of enterprise applications
  • Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
  • Support development of workflows, dashboards, and reporting capabilities
  • Lead quality assurance and validation activities

4. Integration & Interoperability

  • Design and manage integrations between systems and third-party platforms
  • Define API strategies and integration standards
  • Ensure efficient data exchange and system interoperability
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance

5. Technical Governance

  • Participate in architecture boards and IT governance processes
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and security policies
  • Manage technical risks and define mitigation strategies
  • Maintain documentation of architecture and technology stack

6. Transition & Operations

  • Support transition of solutions into operations
  • Define monitoring, maintenance, and support procedures
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement

7. Change Management & Adoption

  • Develop training materials and support user adoption
  • Facilitate communication between technical and business teams
  • Support organizational change initiatives
Deliverables

You will be responsible for producing both business-facing and technical deliverables, including:

Product Management Deliverables

  • Product roadmaps (strategic & tactical)
  • Business cases and application portfolio assessments
  • Product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
  • UAT plans and test cases
  • KPI dashboards and performance tracking
  • End-user documentation and release communications

Solution Architecture Deliverables

  • High-level solution architecture designs
  • Data models and entity relationship diagrams
  • API and integration specifications
  • Technical standards and development guidelines
  • CI/CD and testing strategies
  • Operational documentation (runbooks, DR plans, system guides)
Profile

Education & Certifications

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Solution Architecture, Product Management, Agile, ITIL) are a plus

Experience

  • 10+ years in IT solution delivery
  • 5+ years in product ownership or product management roles
  • 5+ years in solution or technical architecture
  • Strong experience in enterprise systems and integrations
  • Proven experience working with multiple technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Python)
  • Experience balancing business and technical requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management, including senior leadership

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • Enterprise architecture frameworks and system integration patterns
  • API design and microservices architectures
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) – desirable
  • Security, compliance, and data governance principles
  • Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Leadership mindset with ability to influence and guide teams
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments

Languages

  • Fluent English required
  • Additional languages (e.g., French) are an asset
Working Conditions
  • Hybrid model: approximately 60% onsite in Geneva, 40% remote
  • Limited travel may be required during onboarding phase
