Infrastructure Integration and Monitoring Engineer

Contract Duration: 12 months (extension possible) 

Workload: 50% 

Location: Zurich

About the Role:

Randstad Digital Switzerland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure Integration and Monitoring Engineer to join our client in Zurich working at 50%. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in integrating Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) equipment into existing systems and optimizing monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for network connectivity and the integration of M&E equipment (such as Aircon, UPS, DC, Fire Alarm, Intrusion Alarm Systems, etc.) into our client's existing infrastructure. 

  • Act as an interface between the Site Engineering team and the IT and network departments. 

  • Manage and document IP addresses. 

  • Optimize monitoring, dashboards using Dataminer, KPI reporting, and databases. 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Several years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry.

  • Independent and proactive approach with strong initiative.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Good English language skills, as you will be collaborating with international companies and working in a predominantly English-speaking environment.

Expected Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with SNMP, DataMiner (Skyline), Cramer, Nagios, Netcool, Stablenet.
