Data Engineer (German or English speaker)

Are you a data enthusiast who loves complex binary formats and can transform them into valuable insights? Then we're looking for you to perfect our data pipelines and ensure the quality of our data!
 

Your Tasks & Challenges:

• Decoding & Transformation: You'll be the expert in decoding data from various (primarily binary) formats and transforming them into other formats.
• Pipeline Development: Implement robust data pipelines, especially with PySpark (Python), to optimize our data flows.
• Data Quality: You'll ensure our data is complete and accurate, and continuously evaluate its integrity.
• Systems: You'll work daily with Parquet files and PostgreSQL databases.

What You Bring (Must-Haves):

• Proficiency in Data Decoding & Transformation.
• Knowledge of Parquet files and PostgreSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark (Python).
• Skilled in evaluating data completeness and accuracy.
• Excellent English or German skills.
• Team player with an independent work style.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):

• Knowledge of aviation standards like ARINC429, ARINC717, GAMA, or similar.
