UNEP Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) - Sustainable Finance and Client-Facing Banking Professional

The purpose of the Sustainable Finance Professional is to lead at least one of the workstreams in the PRB Worktrack on engaging clients on sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities and contribute their expertise and experience in coverage, account management, or relationship –management in banking. A skilled professional with deep commercial banking experience and a strong understanding of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) integration will help bridge the gap between business units and sustainability functions within banks, ensuring that sustainability commitments are translated into tangible business actions, products, and client engagements. Particularly expertise in dealing with commercial clients from the agriculture or digital infrastructure/data centres&AI sectors will be valuable.
