For our client, an international company based in Elsau, we are looking for a dedicated Team Manager Ceramics & Catalysts and Testing (f/m/d).
 
This managerial position requires leading and aligning three core development streams: Ceramics, Catalysts, and Testing. The primary goal is to ensure that the team's technologies, materials, and validation methods directly support the company's product and corporate strategy, managing the process from initial research all the way to series production. The successful leader will use a combination of deep technical expertise and clear strategic vision to significantly advance the product portfolio, particularly in the areas of catalyst systems and ceramic substrates.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and technical direction to the three development teams (Ceramics, Catalysts & Testing) and ensure their work advances the product and technology roadmap
 - Drive the evolution of the catalyst and ceramic portfolio with a focus on performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability
 - Act as the interface to ceramic and catalyst production, ensuring efficient manufacturing, robust industrialization, and consistent product quality via effective quality control
 - Oversee resource planning, material coordination, and project reporting to ensure transparency, efficiency, and technical excellence
 - Build strong links between material development, catalyst chemistry, and testing to create an integrated development approach
 - Identify new materials, processes, and technologies that strengthen the innovation pipeline and competitive edge
 
Your Qualifications:
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Process Engineering
 - Experience: Proven experience in catalyst or filter development and optimization, ideally with ceramic substrates or exhaust aftertreatment systems
 - Strong track record of innovation, demonstrated through patents, publications, or technology implementations
 - Initial leadership experience or strong motivation to take on a people leadership role
 - Strategic thinker with a clear understanding of how technology drives business value
 - Experience in technology or product portfolio management is a plus
 - Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution ability
 - Language: Fluent language skills in both German and English
