A fast-growing biologics site is expanding its Microbial / Mammalian / BioConjugates operations. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Bioprocess Engineer who can lead change on the shopfloor—owning operational readiness, documentation updates, and the roll-out of new SAP functionality—while supporting robust clinical and commercial manufacturing.
What you’ll doLead the roll-out of new SAP features (with focus on logistics/BOM) and ensure operational readiness across manufacturing.
Drive Change Management deliverables and keep manufacturing documentation up to date (SOPs, batch records, WI).
Act as functional lead for cross-functional teams (production, supervisors, specialists) to deliver project outcomes on time and in full.
Create and maintain training documentation for manufacturing and plant logistics; support delivery of training as needed.
Provide process support to Downstream Processing (e.g., capture, intermediate purification, polishing, drug substance filling) or BioConjugates as applicable.
Uphold GMP standards and contribute to continuous improvement across processes and documentation.
Bachelor/Master/PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related life science.
Significant experience in Biologics Production, especially DSP (chromatography, UF/DF, diafiltration, dead-end filtration) and/or BioConjugates.
Strong SAP experience (logistics/material management, BOM).
Hands-on with MES as an end user; solid understanding of logistics workstreams in production.
Very good knowledge of GMP and batch documentation.
Proven project management capability to coordinate initiatives and meet milestones.
Excellent communication skills in German and English (both required).
Collaborative, structured, solutions-oriented working style; open to new ideas.
Demonstrated project management to drive roll-outs/initiatives.
Direct Biologics Production experience (DSP and/or BioConjugates).
Practical SAP (logistics/BOM) knowledge.
Experience creating training documentation and supporting trainings.
German & English fluency; strong communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
Effective teamwork across manufacturing, logistics, QA, and engineering.
Influence how new systems and processes land on a high-impact biologics site.
