Network DevOps Engineer

As part of a motivated team operating within an agile organisation, you design, implement, and support networking services for our data centre network platforms. You will contribute to the architecture, automation, and operation of highly available network infrastructures, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Together with service teams and the infrastructure department, you will develop, implement, and operate robust network solutions that power our TV and voice services.

• Design, configuration, and operation of Cisco-based and multi-vendor-based network infrastructures
• Development and operation of network services with an end-to-end perspective
• Automation of configurations, tests and operating processes
• Contributing to the further development of architecture and efficiency
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security across all environments

Your Skills

• Advanced certifications or comparable experience in network technologies
• Good knowledge of routing protocols, especially BGP
• Confident handling of Linux (intermediate or higher level)
• Scripting knowledge in Bash and/or Python
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible)
• Very good troubleshooting skills and performance optimization
• Team-oriented, communicative and reliable way of working
• Good English, German is a plus
• Impeccable criminal and debt collection register extract
