About this role
For our client based in Visp, we are looking for a highly organized and communicative Facilities Coordinator to manage site infrastructure and container logistics for ongoing large-scale projects.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Act as the primary administrator for all construction site containers and associated infrastructure.
Occupancy Planning: Control, update, and document the constantly changing occupancy levels; develop long-term occupancy plans in collaboration with Project Managers.
Problem Solving: Proactively organize alternative solutions during space bottlenecks or high-demand periods.
Financial Coordination: Monitor incurred costs and ensure accurate internal recharging and documentation in cooperation with the finance team.
Operational Oversight: Maintain detailed key control protocols and ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of the facilities.
Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure maintenance standards are met and any site deficiencies are rectified promptly.
Construction Support: Provide organizational support to Site Management during conversion and new construction phases.
Qualifications
Education: Completed apprenticeship (Lehre) in either a commercial or technical field.
Experience: Several years of professional experience, ideally with a background in Real Estate or Facility Management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, with a specific focus on Excel for tracking and data management.
Soft Skills: High level of autonomy, a structured working style, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Communication: Outgoing personality with the ability to communicate effectively across different departments in a high-power environment.
Languages: Fluent German is mandatory; Fluent English is required. Additional languages are an asset.
