About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to manage and deliver technical investment projects within a production environment. This role combines technical project management, engineering expertise, and cross-functional leadership to drive impactful improvements in production processes and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Project Management (60%)

Lead the planning and execution of small to mid-sized investment projects impacting production and business outcomes
Perform process engineering calculations and plant optimizations
Conduct feasibility studies for new installations or modifications of existing plants
Develop cost estimates, schedules, and functional concepts
Support production adjustments and new product launches

Concept Development (20%)

Develop and evaluate technical solution concepts
Assess advantages, disadvantages, and feasibility of different approaches
Provide clear recommendations based on engineering and business considerations

Team Coordination & Resource Management (10%)

Coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
Identify and organize internal and external resources
Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery

Process Optimization & Knowledge Transfer (10%)

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
Implement optimizations and support knowledge sharing across teams

Your Profile

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a technical university or college
Preferred fields:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Process Engineering / Technology
- Chemical or Biochemical Engineering

Experience

3–10 years of relevant professional experience
Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is required

Understanding of business and financial processes
Proven ability to lead within a matrix organization

Languages

Fluent German (required)
Advanced English (written and spoken)
