Corporate Procurement Specialist / Global SCM Specialist
About this role
For our client, an international company based in Baden, we are looking for a Corporate Procurement Specialist / Global SCM Specialist.
General Information:
Start: 12.01.2026
Duration: Initial contract of 6 months with extension option based on performance
Workplace: Zurich (HQ) / Baden
Workload: 100%
Remote/Home Office: Hybrid – mainly remote, with presence in the Zurich office 1–2 times per week depending on stakeholder needs
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Strategy & Implementation: Support the development, communication, and implementation of Corporate Procurement strategies, specifically for Indirect Materials & Services.
Sourcing Excellence: Lead and execute eRfX processes for Professional Services, including Consulting, Financial, and Legal Services.
Stakeholder Management: Interact with and manage senior stakeholders across the organization to align procurement activities with business needs.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of Risk Management, Supply Base Management, Quality, and Sustainability initiatives.
Compliance: Ensure the execution, maintenance, and strict compliance of assigned procurement activities in alignment with category teams.
Reporting: Drive implementation of strategic sourcing and report directly to the Co-Head of Corporate Procurement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven track record with a strong background in Indirect Procurement (specifically Professional Services is highly preferred).
Education: Completed commercial apprenticeship or higher education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficient in running digital sourcing events (eRfX) and managing complex indirect categories.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior management and work effectively in a hybrid, cross-functional environment.
Mindset: High level of initiative, motivation, and a collaborative "can-do" attitude.
Languages: Fluent English is mandatory; German is a significant advantage.
