The person joining us will need to understand, monitor, report and manage credit risks faced by the Bank towards its clients (lombard loans, guarantees, overdrafts…) and its banking counterparties. The person will also be involved in the development of credit risk monitoring tools.YOUR MISSION:Daily management of the credit risk controls, for both client and counterparty risks, and resolution of the issues with the support of risk colleagues, front and back office teams, and in line with the Group credit policy;Management of the credit risk framework, including operational duties relating to calibrating pledge values, monitoring credit collateralisation, cash and securities transfers;Management and strong support to the maintenance, automation and development of the dedicated Client and Counterparty Credit risk monitoring and operational tools, independently (using Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, Python) and in coordination with Credit and IT teams;Monitoring and reporting of credit risk exposures to the different Bank and Group governance bodies;Analysis of our counterparties taking into consideration business needs and financial health, including the submission and the recommendation of on-boarding and limit changes to governance bodies;Support and coordination of Credit Risk topics and projects with Lombard Odier external offices;Ad-hoc analysis on targeted credit linked topics.DESIRED PROFILE:Experience in finance (3–7 years), with a good kledge of Client/Counterparty Credit risk and financial instruments;Master’s degree in finance, science, accounting or business a plus;Strong skills in Excel, VBA, Tableau, Python, a plus (or other programming languages and keen to learn);Ability to deal with complex matters;od communication and people skills;Proactive behaviour and management of own workstreams;Fluent in English and French;Appetite for further development, including professional qualifications (e.g. FRM, CFA);Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
