The position offers the opportunity to work on innovative initiatives in the climate finance space, to interact with various stakeholders globally and to work with passionate people by supervising more junior analysts is required.Your Main Tasks:Guide the strategy of responsAbility in climate related aspects participating in the design of new investment strategies.

  • Guide the strategy of responsAbility in climate related aspects participating in the design of new investment strategies.
  • Review and validate energy savings and greenhouse gas emission reductions from projects reported by portfolio companies, mainly in the renewable energy and energy efficiency space.
  • Act as part of our transition to net-zero bonds investment strategy, manage and keep up to date responsAbility’s climate transition score model and engage with investors and external partners.
  • Support the ESG/Impact team in assessing projects and in reporting related indicators.
  • Prepare, contribute, and deliver periodic impact reporting of various Climate Funds managed by responsAbility.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the company's proprietary carbon reporting tool.
  • Assess and report alignment with current and upcoming EU regulation related to Climate Finance.
  • Coordinate projects with external consultants hired under the Technical Assistance facility as an expert on the monitoring and evaluation of deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the Climate Finance space such as Development Financial Institutions, Energy Services Companies, NGOs, GHG Reporting Standards associations, etc.
  • Promote responsAbility Climate Impact in industry panels, webinars, etc.
  • Support in the assessment and the reporting of the company's corporate annual GHG emissions. 

 Your Experience and Skills

  • You have previous proven experience in energy efficiency, sustainability monitoring, and GHG accounting (>7 years).
  • You have a university level degree in engineering, sciences, environmental science or environmental engineering. If you have a master’s degree in related area it would be considered as a plus.
  • You understand what it takes to develop net zero strategies.
  • Your analytical and organizational skills are top-notch.
  • You understand climate change adaptation and mitigation topics as well as life cycle analysis.
  • You have very good presentation skills and can convey clear messages with passion.
  • You are a team player who is able to operate in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • You are curious, eager to learn and creative.
  • You have a strong ability to develop networks and partnerships  and a high interest in impact investing.
  • You can communicate effectively in English both written and verbally with strong attention to details. Fluency in other languages, including German and/or Spanish would be an asset.
